We love everything that’s happening here: the moss-green uppers, the chunky white soles, and the environmentally conscious approach to sourcing the materials for both. Like all of Veja’s sneakers, this pair is made from organic cotton, recycled materials, and responsibly sourced rubber from the Amazon rainforest.

Founded by childhood friends Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, Veja produces everyday sneakers with strong sustainability cred. The brand sources Amazonian rubber directly from seringueiros (rubber tappers) for its soles, practices radical transparency by publishing everything from material costs to chemical safety test reports, and spends zero dollars on advertising, redirecting those funds to things like higher compensation for laborers. The designs range from classic to retro, all with their signature “V” emblazoned on the side.
