This A-line shift is all ease. Cut from light, airy cotton-silk blend, it has a relaxed fit with a half button placket in front and pretty gathering at the neckline. The sleeves are wide and hit right at the elbow. And there are two ample patch pockets in front. As for the print: It’s hand-block-printed by a family of artisans in Bagru, India, who have been creating textiles this way for seven generations.

Conceptualized on a trip to India, the ethically made resort line, Mirth—founded by sister duo, Katie McClure and Erin McClure Breen—is in the business of whisper-thin, travel-friendly kaftans you can feel good about. The pieces are all hand-loomed, weaved, and dyed by highly skilled artisans in India. Another bonus: A portion of the proceeds goes back to an educational initiative in the village where the designs come to life.
