Note: If you’re using the serum and the cream in the mornings, make sure any sunscreen or makeup you might use doesn’t contain zinc oxide. The active ingredients interact with it to create a yellow color on skin—it’s in no way harmful and can easily be washed off, however. (It happens because zinc can prevent the yellow pigment of a key active ingredient in the serum and cream from absorbing totally.) Products containing titanium dioxide, on the other hand, won’t have this effect and are fine to use.
